Horner Park Memorial Tree Program

The memorial tree program was established by the park as a way for people to remember loved ones with a living memorial. Those who contribute to this program have a tree planted and their name inscribed on a plaque located in Horner Park Hall.

1. Trees may be placed in Horner Park, Lebanon Illinois, as living memorials to deceased persons or to civic groups.

2. The charge for each such memorial is $75.00 per tree.

3. The standard nurseryman's guarantee of survival is included, but no other representation is made or implied.

4.Selection of tree and site is at the choice of the Horner Park Board of Commissioners, but suggestions from sponsors are invited and encouraged.

5. Trees will be planted according to nurseryman's suggestions and scheduling, probably in the fall of the year.

6. Identification of the honoree will be made on an appropriate plaque located in Horner Park Hall, showing the name of the Honoree and dates of life, if an individual, plus one additional line of identification limited to 20 letters or spaces.

7. The Horner Park District reserves the right to administer the program as it sees fit, and to ammend these terms without notice.
