Horner Park Hall Rental InformationHorner Park Hall may be rented for a variety of functions. It has been used for wedding
receptions, craft shows, meetings, family reunions.
-- The cost for rental of the hall is $200.
-- There is an additional $200.00 clean-up/security deposit required which is refunded if the hall has been cleaned and there is no damage to the facility.
-- Functions are usually expected to be finished by 11:00 PM, but arrangements to have it open later are possible.
-- When the hall is not being used for other purposes it is available for $50.00 for four (4) hours for setup before the event.
-- For special events or unusual circumstances the Park Board can alter these requirements.
-- The hall is rated by the fire marshal to hold 250 people.
-- There are complete kitchen facilities (stove, oven, sink, refrigerator, cabinets and a serving bar) and tables and chairs come with the facility.
-- In one corner is a raised platform that can be used as a stage for a band or speaker's platform.
-- There are bathrooms accessible from both inside and outside the hall.
-- Immediately behind the hall is a large picnic area with a variety of playground equipment for children.
-- The hall has both a front and rear entrance, and there is a large parking lot immediately to the front of the building.
-- The hall is both air conditioned and heated.
-- People from outside of the Horner Park District who are using the hall for a function do not have to pay the $1.00 fee to use the park, but they are required to pay the $5.00 fishing fee if they want to fish in the lake.
