St. Clair County Community Development Block Grant Program – Pre-Application Announcement
The St. Clair County Intergovernmental Grants Department will be accepting pre-applications from resident homeowners for participation in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Moderate Rehabilitation Program.
This program is designed to assist eligible low-income homeowners in St. Clair County by providing funding for repairs to interior and exterior systems that may threaten the health and safety of occupants. Eligible repairs may include, but are not limited to:
- Electrical systems
- Plumbing
- Heating systems
- Roofing
- Painting
- Windows and doors
- Lead hazard reduction
Pre-Application Request Period:
Homeowners may request a pre-application by calling 618-825-3215 between:
Monday, June 8, 2026 – Friday, June 12, 2026
Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Please note:
- Requests will ONLY be accepted by phone during this designated time frame
- No walk-ins or early calls will be accepted
