Lebanon Historic District

Downtown Brick Street

Lebanon's Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. The district showcases various architectural styles, including Greek Revival, Gothic, Italianate, English Country, Queen Anne, Georgian, and Southern Colonial. The district includes our brick street shopping district, McKendree University, and several residential streets. Described in the original application as "an irregular area centered on St Louis and Belleville streets from Dee on the east to just west of the western city limits.
